Building your First Menu #2: How to Create an Item

To create an item:

1. Log in to the GRUBBRR Portal
2. Select the appropriate location from the menu
3. Select Menu from the left sidebar menu
4. Select Catalog Management from the dropdown
5. Select Items from the dropdown
6. Select +Add New in the upper right section of the screen
7. Enter the Item's Name
   • If you are not using a display name, the name will show everywhere for the item
   • If you are using a display name, the name will show in the Portal and on the Kiosk
8. Enter a Display Name if desired
   • This is a separate name for the item that will show on the kiosk
9. Enter a Description into the 'Full Description' text field if desired
10. Enter an Item Price
11. If you want your items to display in a specific order, you can add a numerical value to the Display Order field.
12. Select a category from the category dropdown
13. Select a kitchen from the kitchen dropdown
14. Select Save

Procedure Warnings:

You must have created at least one Menu Category before you can begin adding items to the Kiosk menu.
