How to Manage Calorie Counts in the GRUBBRR Portal

Last updated: August 8, 2026

My customers want to know rough calorie counts for the items in their order; can I show this information on the Kiosk?

If you'd like to provide guests with additional information about the items in their cart, you can display calorie counts for your menu items on your GRUBBRR Kiosk. These can be displayed as calorie ranges- as in the case of the burger in the picture below- or as simple calorie counts.

You can enable Calorie Counts on your kiosks by following these two processes:

Adding Calories to your Menu Items

First, you'll need to add calorie counts to each menu item manually.  To do so:

  1. Sign in to the GRUBBRR Portal at the Company or Location level, depending on where you manage your menu
  2. Click on "Menu" in the left sidebar
  3. Click on "Catalog Management" from the dropdown
  4. Click on "Items"
  5. Select the item you wish to configure
  6. Click on the blue "Edit" button in the action column for that item
  7. Scroll down and click the option labeled "Click to Manage Additional Settings"
  8. On the Additional Settings tab, find the section labeled Calories
    • To display Simple Calorie Counts, enter the appropriate number in the Calories field
    • To display a Calorie Range, enter a minimum calorie count into Calories, and a maximum calorie count into Max Calories
      • Note: Items configured in Pizza Builder Mode do not support Calorie Range display
  9. Click "Save" to apply your changes

Remember to repeat this process for each item you want to use this feature!

Enabling Calorie Counts on your GRUBBRR Kiosk

Next, we'll need to configure each location's General Settings to enable Calorie Counts at the kiosk. To do so:

  1. Sign in to the GRUBBRR Portal at the Location level
  2. Click on "Configure" in the left sidebar
  3. Click "General Settings" in the dropdown menu
  4. Click on the "Kiosk" tab at the top of the page
  5. In the first section of the Kiosk tab, make sure that the option for "Show Calorie Counts" is checked On
  6. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click "Save"

Remember to Sync your changes to apply them to your kiosks!
