Building your First Menu #11: Mapping Modifiers to a Single Item

To map modifiers to your menu items:

  1. Log in to the GRUBBRR Portal
  2. Select the appropriate location from the menu
  3. Select Menu from the left sidebar menu
  4. Select Catalog Management from the dropdown
  5. Select Items
  6. Find the item you wish to modify
  7. Click the Modifier Management button in the Action Column
  8. Click Add New
  9. Create a Modifier Group, using the following configurations: 
    • The Modifier Group Name
      • The Kiosk Display Order
      • The KOT/KDS Display Order
      • The Minimum and Maximum Selections a guest can make in the group
      • The Maximum Portion a guest can order of any single ingredient
      • If the modifier group has a default upcharge, add it to the price field
    • To add modifiers to the group:
      •  Scroll down to the Selected Ingredients Table
      • Pick one modifier from the dropdown box in the Ingredients column
      • If desired, you can also add upcharges for specific modifiers in this table
      • Click the green Plus sign to add a modifier to the group
      • Repeat these steps for every modifier you want to include in the group
  10. Click Save to apply your changes
