How to Set up the Bruster's Integration in the GRUBBRR Portal

Our Integration with Bruster's online platform allows the client's GRUBBRR devices to pull location information, loyalty program, menu data, and pricing. In this guide, we'll walk through configuring this configuration in the GRUBBRR Portal. 

Prerequisites

For us to set up a Bruster's location, clients will need to provide the following information:

  • Their Bruster's Store Number
  • The Username that will allow the GRUBBRR Portal to access the Bruster's database
  • The Password that will enable the GRUBBRR Portal to access the Bruster's database

Features & Capabilities

GRUBBRR's integration with the Bruster's web portal offers the following features: 

  • Guests can sign in to their Bruster's Loyalty Account and redeem rewards at the GRUBBRR Kiosk
  • Guests can manually enter and scan promotional codes at the GRUBBRR kiosk
  • The GRUBBRR portal can automatically update price changes and store hours via webhook
  • Users can check which webhooks they have subscribed to/active in the GRUBBRR Portal
  • Users can set up a Daily Sync between the GRUBBRR portal and the Bruster's database 
  • Users can configure loyalty sign-in/redemption options (QR Code, Email Address, or Phone Number) for their kiosks through the GRUBBRR Portal

Location-Level Configurations

To configure the Bruster's Integration:

  1. Log in to the GRUBBRR Portal at the Location level
  2. Select Integration from the left sidebar menu
  3. Select Bruster from the dropdown

  4. On the Bruster's Integration setup page, make the following configurations:



    • Leave the URL field at its default setting
    • Enter the Store Number provided by the client.
    • Select the desired loyalty sign-in option from the User Sign-In Using dropdown; at this time, clients can choose to have users sign in with Phone Number, Barcode, or Phone Number+Barcode
    • If desired, enable Use Daily Sync and set a Daily Sync Time using the 24h clock tool
    • Enter the User Name provided by the client
    • Enter the Password provided by the client. 
    • Select the desired coupon redemption method from the Apply Promocode Using dropdown menu; at this time, clients can choose to have users redeem promo bodes by Typing, Barcode, or Typing+Barcode
    • Select Save Only
    • Select Save & Sync Data Now

Syncing GRUBBRR with the Bruster's System

When we sync, GRUBBRR imports Bruster's menu, taxes, store hours, and pricing. Currently, we have two primary methods of synching with Bruster's system. 

Daily Sync

With Daily Sync enabled, the GRUBBRR Portal will automatically perform a full menu sync with the location's POS at a pre-determined time every day. Daily syncs will automatically overwrite any configurations made in the GRUBBRR Portal with information from Bruster's Online Ordering platform.  

Manual Sync

To sync Bruster's information to GRUBBRR:

  1. Log in to the GRUBBRR Portal using the appropriate company credentials
  2. Select the location you are syncing
  3. Select Integration from the left sidebar menu
  4. Select Bruster's from the dropdown
  5. Select Save & Sync Data Now

Loyalty rewards program

Bruster's loyalty rewards allow customers to earn "Cash" rewards. Loyalty discounts are assigned a specific dollar value; customers earn discounts by earning points through purchases.

When customers earn a reward, it is added to their account; they can choose when to apply it to an order.

Customers can sign in using their phone numbers. They can see their available rewards and redeem them at the kiosk.
