Why is my Clover Kitchen Management System Printing Duplicate Tickets for Kiosk Orders?
Last updated: October 26, 2026
If your kiosks use GRUBBRR's Clover integration, you may see duplicate order tickets (KOTs) for items ordered at the kiosk. This happens when unlabeled items are also set to print on Clover ticket printers, which creates duplicate entries each time a kiosk submits an order to your POS. You can resolve this by updating your printer label settings in Clover.
Clover's help article, Print station-specific tickets from a single order printer, explains how to set up printer labels in Clover. Printer labels tell Clover which kitchen station each item belongs to (e.g., Grill or Bar). If an item isn't labeled, the printer includes it as part of a "consolidated ticket."
At a high level, the article covers these steps:
Set up an order printer in Clover.
Assign a printer label to each of your menu items.
Turn on Print separate tickets based on labels in your Clover dashboard or in the Setup app on your Clover device. In the dashboard, you can find this option under Settings > View all settings > Order Receipts > Customize order receipt (Clover order receipt settings).
