You can control the order types available to your customers on the kiosk. You can also configure the kiosk to ask customers for specific pieces of information like their name, phone number, or email address.
Kiosk orders can also be assigned a Clover order type within the GRUBBRR Portal. For example, Takeout orders on the GRUBBRR side may be Kiosk - Takeout orders on the Clover side of things. However, this requires the order type Kiosk -Takeout to be manually created in the Clover Portal.
To configure order types:
- Log in to the GRUBBRR Portal
- Select 'Settings' from the left sidebar menu
- Select 'Kiosk Settings' from the dropdown
- Make sure the tab 'Kiosk Settings' is selected at the top of the screen
- Locate the 'Order Type' section of the settings page
- Select to enable or disable Dine In and Takeout as order types
- You can re-name Dine In and Takeout to whatever your ordering preferences are
- Select to enable customer prompts:
- Name, phone number, and email address will all be asked for in the same pop-up and required if they are enabled
- Select 'Save'
Table Tents
If you use table tents at your business, you can turn table tents on using the order type table. Select 'Table Tent' to enable the table tent pop-up, which will ask customers for their table tent number at the end of their order.
POS Order Types
Under the POS Order Type dropdown, select the appropriate Clover order type.
