When configuring your GRUBBRR kiosk, it's essential to upload a clear, recognizable, and appealing image for all of the items and modifiers in your GRUBBRR Kiosk menu. These images will generally be the first things that your guests see when browsing your kiosk menu; so, a good first impression is key!
Technical Requirements
Your kiosk will automatically display all images (static or .gif) at a resolution of 400x400 pixels. It's important to keep this in mind when selecting images; selecting images smaller than this resolution can lead to pixelated or grainy images on your kiosk.
Your menu images should also be on a transparent background. This keeps your kiosk menu clean and consistent for your guests.
Finally, GRUBBRR recommends that you try to limit the file size of your menu images to 100 kb or less. This helps to ensure a smooth guest experience at the kiosk.
Recommendations:
While it's important to select menu images that meet the technical requirements listed above, it's also important to select images that best represent your menu items to customers. When selecting menu images, make sure that your image:
- Shows the full menu item
- Shows any default or commonly associated modifiers
- Makes sparing use of animation- you want to highlight an image, but not make it garish or distracting!
