While some clients may only want to show a single piece of content on their Digital Menu Boards, others may want to use their devices to show a constantly rotating sequence of images and videos instead. One way we can support this is by creating a playlist- a pre-defined set of content that will play on a loop. Depending on the client's needs, playlists can follow set sequence, or they can be randomized.
You can create a new playlist in MagicInfo by following the steps outlined below.
1. Click "Playlist"
2. Click "New Playlist"
3. Set the playlist to be supported on all devices
4. Click "Create"
5. Use the "Category" dropdown to only show content related to the client you're assisting
6. Select the content that you want to include in the playlist
7. You can use the Preview Window to change the display order and display time of individual content in the playlist
8. Click "Save"
9. The Playlist's name should include the upload date, client, and intended device (if Applicable)
This makes it easier for our team to find and edit the playlist later.
10. If you enable "Shuffle," the playlist will randomize the display order of all content
11. Click "Save" to apply your changes
