Occasionally, you may experience an issue that causes your guests to receive duplicate SMS messages for order updates. This issue can occur because you have multiple KDS devices- an "Expo" and at least one kitchen-specific- that have been set up to send SMS confirmations when an order is marked as complete in their system.
To resolve this error, follow the steps outlined below:
1. Sign in to the GRUBBRR Portal at the Location level
2. Click "Configure"
3. Click "KDS Master"
4. Click "Edit" for your Expo KDS
5. Make sure "Send Completion Notification to Mobile App" is enabled
6. Click "Save" to go back to the KDS Master List
7. Click "Edit" for your non-expo KDS
8. Make sure "Send Completion Notification to Mobile App" is disabled
9. Click "Save" to apply your changes
