Configuring your Order Progress Boards

The GRUBBRR portal makes it easy to customize the User Interface of your Order Progress Boards from a single settings page. Please remember that any changes you make are applied to all order progress boards at a location; the system does not support changing these settings on a device-by-device basis. To make settings changes to your Order Progress Boards: 

  1. Sign in to the GRUBBRR Portal at the Location level 
  2. Select Configure in the left sidebar
  3. Select OPB Settings from the dropdown menu
  4. On the OPB Settings page, you can make the following configurations:

    • The Color Theme settings at the top of the page allow you to use either color selector tools or hex code to configure the color of the following elements of your Progress Board:
      • The screen's General Background Color
      • The individual Ticket Background Color
      • The text color of the date and time at the top of the OPB screen
      • The text color used for Ticket Titles 
      • The background color of the OPB's Header Bar
      • The text color used for Order Numbers on tickets
      • The color of the title text displayed in the OPB's header (not date/time)
      • The text color used for Customer Names on your tickets
      • The background color of the different order columns
      • the color of the order columns' title text
    • The Customization of Fonts settings lets you choose between three fonts (Future Book, Futura Light, and Futura Medium) for the text that displays: 
      • In the Header of the OPB
      • In the columns of the OPB
      • In customer tickets on the OPB
    • The General Options section contains two important settings
      • The first sub-section here allows you to configure which columns display on your OPB; you can choose to have the device display orders that are In Progress, Ready for Pickup, and orders that have been Picked Up
      • The second sub-section allows you to enter the time (in minutes) for an order to be automatically cleared out of a column on your OPB. 
        • Entering a value of 0 will turn off the auto-clear functionality
    • The OPB Order Update Flow controls how your KDS communicates with your Order Progress Board; depending on your needs, you can choose whether each of the following actions on the KDS tells the OPB to do nothing, to Move an Order to Ready for Pickup, or to Move an Order to Picked UP
      • Completing an Order on the KDS
      • Completing an Order on the Expediter KDS
      • Highlighting an Order on the KDS
      • Highlighting an Order on the Expediter
    • The Refresh Delay setting sets the amount of time (in seconds) that must pass before the OPB can refresh/update order statuses
      • The GRUBBRR portal requires at least a minimum value of ten seconds for this setting
    • The View each order setting allows you to select whether orders are displayed using the OPB's default order cards or custom order fields. At this time, you can choose from the following:
      • TP Order ID/Order Invoice Numbers
      • Order Token Numbers
      • Customer Name
      • Customer Name and Order ID
    • Finally, the Order Source section allows you to choose which orders your OPB will display; at this time, you can select to display orders from:
      • Your Kiosk
      • Any linked Mobile App
      • Your POS

Once you've configured your OPB settings, remember to save your changes and sync them to your GRUBBRR devices!
