If orders from your GRUBBRR Kiosk, or any other web ordering solutions, are not displaying correctly on your GRUBBRR KDS, you may need to verify that you've mapped your devices/services to the appropriate order type in the Clover Portal. If order types are not mapped, the KDS will display every order as Clover's Default Order Type. You can create, update, and map order types by following the processes below.
Creating Order Types in Clover
To create custom order types for your GRUBBRR Kiosk or any other online ordering solution, sign in to the Clover Portal and select Account & Setup from the sidebar at the left of the page. On the Account & Setup page, select Order Types to open your Custom Order Types list, then select Add Order Type to create an appropriate order type for your GRUBBRR Kiosks.
Mapping Custom Order Types to your GRUBBRR Kiosks
When you have created your desired Custom Order Types in Clover, you can map them to your GRUBBRR Devices. To do so, sign in to your merchant.grubbrr.com account and follow the steps below.
- First, make sure that your GRUBBRR system has the latest information from your POS by clicking on the Sync button at the top right of the page and selecting Pull from Clover
- In the left sidebar, select Settings
- Select Kiosk Settings from the dropdown menu
- Select the Kiosk Settings tab at the top left of the screen
- Select the appropriate custom order type for your Kiosks's Dine In and Takeout options from the POS Order Type dropdowns
- Select Save to apply your changes
- Click on the Sync button again, and select Push to Kiosk
Once these configurations are complete, your GRUBBRR KDS should correctly identify orders received from your kiosk. Please note: if you use other web ordering solutions from the Clover marketplace, you are responsible for completing this process in each respective app so that your GRUBBRR KDS recognizes orders from that service. GRUBBRR does not support third-party ordering platforms.
