GRUBBRR’s DX Market powered by GRUBBRR solution makes it easy for clients to fulfill orders submitted at the pump or through online ordering. If the client has assigned barcodes to menu items in the GRUBBRR Portal, their GRUBBRR KDS will print them out as part of the KOT. Users can then simply scan the items at the POS to add items to the customer’s cart.
Assigning Barcodes to Items
You can now enable barcode scanning for specific items in your menu. As a reminder, this function can only be used with items that do not have any modifiers.
- From the left sidebar, select Menu
- Select Catalog Management
- Select Items
- Select the item you want to edit on the Item List. You can scroll through the list or use the search bars at the top of the page to find the specific items you want to modify.
- Click the blue Edit button on the right side of the screen.
- Scroll down and select the option labeled Click to Manage Additional settings
- In the Item Barcode ID section, enter every digit of the number below the item's barcode. The system will not correctly scan the item if any numbers are left out.
- Select Save
