When building combo groups, you can select whether or not certain menu items are part of a special category called Main Combo Groups. If a customer purchases an item from a Main Combo Group, your kiosk can automatically offer them a chance to upgrade their single-item purchase to a combo using the "Make it a Combo" system. Please note- we can only upgrade menu items to existing combos. This means that we must have already created and configured an active Combo item on the menu for the upgrade to work.
To create a "Main Combo Group" and enable this feature, follow the steps outlined below.
1. Click "Menu"
2. Click "Catalog Management"
3. Click "Combo Groups"
4. Click "Edit" for the combo group you want to configure
5. Turn on "Main Combo Group"
6. Click "Save"
7. Click "Sync" to push changes to the Kiosk
