In this video tutorial, we'll show you how to create and map taxes for your menu through the GRUBBRR Portal. This is a three-step process- creating taxes, creating tax groups, and assigning those tax groups to your menu items. We've provided a written summary of all of the steps beneath the video.
To Create a new tax:
- Log in to the GRUBBRR Portal
- Select the appropriate location from the menu
- Click on Operations in the left sidebar
- Click on Tax, Tips, & Other Charges
- Click on Tax Master
- Click on Add New
- Configure the following settings:
- The Tax Name
- The % value of the Tax
- A User-Defined ID
- A Display order
- Click Save
To Create a new Tax Group:
- Click on Operations in the left sidebar
- Click on Tax, Tips, & Other Charges
- Click on Tax Groups
- Click on Add New
- Configure the following settings:
- The Tax Group Name
- The Tax Group Display Order
- If you want this group to automatically be applied to all menu items, click on Is Default
- Select any created taxes and add them to the tax group
- Click Save
To manually map tax groups:
- On the Tax Groups page, find the tax group you want to assign
- Click the Item Mapping button in the action column for that tax
- Click the box next to each menu item that you want to assign this tax to
- Click Save to apply your changes
