This video tutorial shows you how to create Modifier Groups- called Common Modifiers- through the GRUBBRR Portal. Modifier groups are pre-configured lists of modifiers that you know you'll use on a variety of menu items- e.g., cheese options that you'll offer on multiple burgers in your restaurant. By creating Modifier Groups, you can make the process of assigning modifiers to your menu items much more efficient. As always, the steps in the video are outlined below for your convenience.
To create Common Modifiers:
- Log in to the GRUBBRR Portal
- Select the appropriate location from the menu
- Select Menu from the left sidebar menu
- Select Modifier Management from the dropdown
- Select Common Modifiers
- Select Add New
- On the Common Modifier Screen, configure the following:
- The Modifier Group Name
- The Kiosk Display Order
- The KOT/KDS Display Order
- The Minimum and Maximum Selections a guest can make in the group
- The Maximum Portion a guest can order of any single ingredient
- If the modifier group has a default upcharge, add it to the price field
- To add modifiers to the group:
- Scroll down to the Selected Ingredients Table
- Pick one modifier from the dropdown box in the Ingredients column
- If desired, you can also add upcharges for specific modifiers in this table
- Click the green Plus sign to add a modifier to the group
- Repeat these steps for every modifier you want to include in the group
- Click Save to apply your changes
