One of the first steps you should take when setting up your GRUBBRR devices is to have a trusted IT Provider create a list of approved domains and applications that your devices can access. This process is called whitelisting.
Whitelisting creates a secure network by establishing specific limits for your devices. Rather than trying to predict potentially hazardous apps/sites and blocking them, setting a whitelist tells your devices that they can only access the approved sites and apps. Compare it to establishing parental controls on television; instead of trying to guess which channels could harm a child, you define the channels you want them to access, and everything else is blocked away.
Whitelisting requirements vary greatly based on your hardware, integrations, payment processors, and loyalty programs. To help you navigate this process, we've created whitelisting guides for all the devices in the GRUBBRR ecosystem. Select the appropriate links from the table below, and share the lists with your IT provider to configure your whitelisting settings.
