If your Samsung Kiosk's screen is completely blank, it's possible that the flow of power to the device has been interrupted. In this article, we'll cover a few of the ways to verify that your device is getting the power it needs to work as intended.
How to Tell that Your Device is Powered On
An easy way to verify whether or not your device is powered on is to check inside the printer drawer.
- Open the printer door
- Press the power button inside the drawer and see if the screen comes on.
Unplug and Plug your Kiosk Back In
- Find your kiosk's power adapter
- Unplug it from the wall, wait 3-5 seconds, and plug it back in.
- Press the power button to restart your kiosk. Again, look for the Blue LED light under the printer housing to verify that the device has powered on.
Check that the Power Strip in the back of your Device is Plugged In
- Pull on the bottom right corner of the back panel of your device to remove the panel.
- Find the power strip shelved in the back panel and check to ensure that the strip is powered on. If the strip is on and receiving power, the switch should be glowing orange.
The Kiosk is Receiving Power, but the Screen is Still Off
If your kiosk's indicator is showing that the device is powered on, but the screen is completely black, then your next step should be to verify that your Kiosk Screen is properly connected.
