While subcategories can make a Kiosk menu easier to navigate, they can also add extra clicks for Kiosk users trying to find their preferred items. One of the ways we can combat this is to enable "Single-Step" subcategories through the GRUBBRR Console. This is a unique flow, intended for menus with no more than one "sub-level" of categories, that changes our normal tiled subcategory display to a "tabbed" view similar to the one we use in the GRUBBRR Console. You can see an example of "single-step" view next to our traditional sub-category display below.

 

You can enable single-step subcategories at the location level in the GRUBBRR Console by following the steps outlined below.
